About Halloween

Halloween has become popular in Japan in recent years.
The image of costumes is strong, but it's the time when you can see ghost sweets when you go to a cake shop.
I'm sure many of you have heard the phrase "Trick or Treat".

Originally a festival that originated in Europe, it is a festival that celebrates the autumn harvest, welcomes the spirits of ancestors, and wards off evil spirits.
The famous "Trick or Treat" is translated in Japan as "If you don't give me sweets, I'll play a trick on you."
It is customary to say "Happy Halloween" and give candy when someone says "Trick or Treat".
The fact that sweets at cake shops are Halloween-style is partly due to this interaction.
